  1. Review - ImgBurn

    2.4.4.0 (Apr 17, 2009)

This is a gem of an application. Id give it 10 / 10 any day.
Its on my network share, due to the fact its lightweight and does exactly what it sets out to do and is best of all free.

If you cant use it, or don't know how then learn, its not rocket science.

i have used nero for years, after creator mucked up, and now dont even use it. This application is awesome, even writes Wii images, but thats another story.

    XXXXX without a doubt.

  2. Review - Free Download Manager

    2.5.755 (May 15, 2008)

Great DM, functions are clear and concise. Well recommended and works without problems on Vista and Server 2003. I have tried them all and prefer to only use this. Free is the icing on the cake.

If you already have a preferred torrent application, then I highly recommend the lite version that is leaner. Plug-ins can always be added later.

    Many thanks.

  3. Review - Sysinternals Suite

    Build 02/04/08 (Feb 6, 2008)

DatabaseBen ... are you are moron ?

These are Admin tools, they are not meant for idiots like you. Your opinions are noob comments here. don't you realise that Sys Admins who use these tools do so at the command line to be applied remotely or as a script?

If was was control panel based it would lose the functionality it was designed for !

Go play Quake, if you can install it !!

  4. Review - Mouse Trap

    4.0 (Sep 15, 2006)

Came on for a great program, and remembered this util, and it does the job and works great.

Pity it's so costly, since it does not justify the price, hence it wont get used for much longer and will get uninstalled.

Worthy only if you need the features, at a low resource level.

  5. Review - PECompact

    2.61 RC1 (Jul 5, 2005)

The point of it is not rocket science, If you have a very large program file you can compress it so that it does not take allot of storage space. You obviously cannot zip and and still run it because of all the dependant files, since zip was not designed for this. This program uses the same technology but packs the file indepandantly and not them all together.

I have used packers before mearly just to protect them from modification or reverse engineering, and until a generic unpacker comes out it will serve this purpose in a basic manner.

If you dont know what its used for or cant think of a reason to use it then obviously its little use to you, but for software developers its a good tool.

  6. Comment - Nokia sues Apple, claims iPhone is stealing its innovations

    2.61 RC1 (Oct 22, 2009 - 12:01 PM)

Nokia is going to gab the apple tree and see what bounty it can get. It think it stands a good chance of pulling this off, and apple shows us its just as bad as its often acused rivals in coughing up patents. I dont think buying the company is an option ...

  8. Comment - Digital music to make up 41 percent of sales by 2013

    2.61 RC1 (Dec 6, 2008 - 7:38 AM)

My heat bleeds for them, it really does.

But then they dont have the huge manufacturing costs, the cost to the environment to support this industry. All of which contributes to the final cost to the consumer.

They need to adapt to the consumer or fail in the current economic climate.

  9. Comment - Free 24-hour ZoneAlarm Pro 2009 download

    2.61 RC1 (Nov 18, 2008 - 5:04 PM)

Great link ... got my copy.

Used a few emails to get the legit keys as well. Will be usefull when fixing problems, and they might get some customers out of it after a year.

While I have a hardware firewall, I like the outbound security software firewalls provide.
