    Gone right off this over bloated (but handy) program, its locks ups and amount of RAM usage made me look for alternatives and thankfully i found Desktop Sidebar, a much better alternative.

    You can get a Toshiba HD-EP30 in the UK from Play.com for under £120 delivered now, it is a no brainer to buy one at that price, it is only £20 more than a Sony upscaling DVD player.

    Blu-Ray is a Sony baby, the BDA was formed to develop and forward the standard.

    It is easy to see which camp your feet are in since your last Blu-Peter appearance.

    Personally i could not give a toss, fans of both formats seem like over zealous rantboys that really get on my goat, most people just want a $99 player that does both formats.

    Hardly, if i am paying for a film or some music i still want the box, the disc and the printed material. Plus with the ISPs imposing download caps and FUPs all over the place downloading HD material is a pipe dream.

    Get some £99 players on the market and i might even give Blu-Ray a second look.
