The problem is that the police don't hand out enough tickets. People need to be ticketed even if they're going just 1 mph over the speed limit. The law is the law.

Companies like i4i should be sued out of existence for wrongfully damaging companies like Microsoft. Seriously, a permanent injunction is simply too steep of a penalty in this specific case.

@dracodos - You don't need any special app to play PS1 games. The PS1's CPU is the I/O controller for the PS3.

If Palm and Sprint's terms of service said they could remotely access all of your data on your Pre anytime they feel like it and do whatever they want with it this would be perfectly legal. If people still decided to buy the Pre despite this they would have no grounds for filing a lawsuit of any kind.

@ TBNTX - The link you posted is totally inaccurate. The iPhone 3.0 update released for AT&T iPhones fully supports MMS. This means that while the iPhone 3.0 software makes it possible to send multimedia messages right now, AT&T's network will block the message and prevent it from going through. In terms of the features being offered, the iPhone 3.0 software in the USA is identical to the 3.0 software released in other countries.
In other words: This is NOT Apple's fault in any way, shape or form. It is entirely AT&T's fault.
