As long as the option is there to not install an ad related toolbar to support the program being free I will use this program and it is not like Comodo is the first company to do this.
CIS is an excellent firewall and has low system impact.
3.50.3529.34255 Alpha (Aug 31, 2009)
Do not let some of the reviewers mislead you.
Paint.NET is not a do it all photography program nor does
it claim to be but a very good free Paint replacement program
that is feature rich for its size and light on resources.
If you want a program that does it all pick The Gimp or pay for
Photoshop. Paint.NET is all I need.
3.0 Build 1817 (Jun 22, 2009)
Still a fine program and anyone saying that it is worse then the original without giving any reasons are just talking trash.
Do not click through the install and you will be fine.
3.0 Beta (Mar 19, 2009)
Works fine when viewing Netflix movies and much better then flash in this aspect. Hopefully Silverlight will catch on as I believe it beats flash hands down.
3.1 Beta 3 (Mar 14, 2009)
Working fine here. Faster then ever and low memory usage.
Its a keeper.
3.1 Beta 3 (Nov 19, 2009 - 7:34 AM)
Working just fine on Win 7, Vista, & XP Pro.
No problems with flash or java.
Rendering is nice and crisp.
3.1 Beta 3 (Nov 16, 2009 - 6:10 PM)
You mean the rest of the US that has broadband?
There are still too many areas of the US that has to rely on dialup which hurts the user and looses money for companies like Netflix.
Netflix may be riding high now but if the USPS drops Saturday deliveries Netflix may see a huge drop in those planes higher then 1 at a time and need to make more of their catalog available for streaming which IMO they should have done by now anyway.
I am sure they could come up with a reasonable price for streaming only no DVDs.
3.1 Beta 3 (Nov 13, 2009 - 8:12 PM)
Drolling over ads?
What a frigging looser!
3.1 Beta 3 (Nov 12, 2009 - 10:44 AM)
It makes no sense to update Addons and themes for every beta release available as if you look at nightly build changelogs you can see there are constant changes that just makes all the work done on the extension or theme useless.
I update my 3 themes for the betas 2x a month and after the official release only if a supported extension has a layout change.
If you are paying for an extension or theme gripe away if not then be happy anyone is taking the time to create and maintain them at all.
3.1 Beta 3 (Nov 11, 2009 - 2:36 AM)
Well I am running Fx v3.6b3 with 68 extensions installed with no issues.
Just get Mr. Tech's Toolkit extension to force compatibility if need be.
You should be able to tell when an extension is actually broken vs. not being compatible with a particular version of Fx and if not you should not run Fx beta releases.
