note it says windows 2000/XP
2.0.0.9 (Nov 13, 2007)
LDAP integration to auto complete email addresses is a blessing. Very well designed application. Everything is where I expect it to be.
2.3.19 Development (Jul 31, 2007)
The UI is a little weird to get use to at first. But these ratings of 1/5 are ridiculous. Try harder to rate the overall program not ONE or TWO aspects of it you do not like.
The user interface rocks on my multi-monitor setup.
it is very useful to have tools all on one screen.
2.2.1 (Jul 18, 2007)
like I said before,
If you are a student and writing papers with equations, OpenOffice is THE way (type "fn" and press F3 for eqn centered and numbered by reference) to go unless you are comfortable with latex. Having an integrated pdf export is also useful. It is much faster than the acrobat + word combo for larger documents.
4.5.2 Build 2241 (Nov 1, 2006)
great stuff
i used this for xhtml and php.
very useful features.
4.5.2 Build 2241 (May 24, 2008 - 10:26 PM)
i own a zune.
The default software is for noobs. You have to use hacks in order to use alternatives since they encrypt the usb signal. I guess regular users don't know how to use windows explorer to copy files?
All I want is for it to show up as a standard mass storage device so I can order my videos and music by the folder. I don't like to deal with this playlist bs.
MS can easily fix this with a software update, but they are wish to plague it with DRM.
Other than the pc interface software, zune is not a bad player. Just needs mass storage support...
4.5.2 Build 2241 (Dec 11, 2006 - 11:58 PM)
umm... that 300GB hard drive spinning at 4200rpm is probably faster than the 7200rpm 120gb drive...
transfer rate is a function of both rpm and data density on the platter...
think of it this way.. why does the rpm on ur car go up and down when you know you are going faster? :D
4.5.2 Build 2241 (Jul 28, 2006 - 8:42 PM)
why doesn't MS just use bittorrent.... blizzard does... for wow updates... MS is like afraid of open source and free technologies...
4.5.2 Build 2241 (Jul 28, 2006 - 12:28 AM)
to be frank...
IE sucks...you don't know how many countless hours i spending researching and looking up hacks for my standards xhtml strict/css website to render properly in IE...
the IE rendering engine is a decade old hack... it takes freakin hacked shortcuts to speed up rendering in certain situations and thats why page which take advantage of xhtml and css 1/2 do NOT render properly. A simple thing as the box model for html is BROKEN and implemented wrong in IE...
IE screwed me over many hours of lost productivity ... the world needs to stop using IE PERIOD... think about your web developers...
please us OPERA/FIREFOX/ANY STANDARDS COMPLIANT BROWSER... think about your hard working developers not getting as much sleep as they should be getting because you browser with IE...
4.5.2 Build 2241 (Jul 10, 2006 - 5:42 PM)
CPU Wars are good. lots of innovation = faster cpu development. I have both intel and amd systems... depending on who currently has the better cpu for the better value... for the platform I am looking at, I get it.
I don't care about brand loyalty, whoever makes the superior product for a good value gets my money :D. I want the best cpu for the money without sacrificing too much performance, and it varies depending on the time of the year and platform.
