    Better than Norton. However, for the extremely lazy Warcrafters who don't have the brain power to run a scan, I still have yet to find you the perfect Anti Virus that will scan and breathe for you automatically. If Avast programmers could get it to update, restart and scan automatically when screen saver goes on, it may sell more copies. Another batch setting would be for it to update and restart the PC in boot scan and after the scan completes, either shut down or boot to Stand By or Hibernate. :)
