   File transfers - get emule or some crap
   emoticons - keep your AOL account.
   I hate to say it but unfortunately people complain about IM's being bloated... people made them that way. Requesting stupid unneeded features. It's meant for chat, period. You don't need file transfer, laundry lister, emoticons, word processor, mp3 player, news, weather, and all this other crap that everybody is trying to incorporate into their clients. It's a shame that stupidity is ruling...

   There is no possible way that it uses more RAM than msn messenger with all the crap it has running in the background. For me it uses 3 megs of RAM as opposed to MSN messenger which used like 15 megs. You're looking at something wrong.

   yes, you need to close and open the desktop search then go to add/remove panels and it should be there
