   This is wonderful news. Of course Sony is responsible for the rootkit fiasco but if they can destroy another DRM software company in the process then great, I'm all for it.

   Since when have Google handed people over to the Chinese government? Can you provide a link? I do know that Yahoo has done this though.
   
   When it comes to real privacy, Google has a much better track record than Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.

3. Comment - Mozilla Rolls Out Thunderbird 2.0 RC1

   I use Thunderbird 1.5 (on Windows XP) as my main email client. I used to use Outlook Express. It's not bad but IMO it still needs a lot of work. There are a few annoying bugs and it uses tons of RAM compared to Outlook Express. There are lots of extensions which is good as it's easy to add new features such as a calender and pgp encryption.
   
   I'm looking forward to v2.0 and hope it fixes the bugs and problems I've been facing with v1.5.
