  1. Comment - Sprint/Clearwire WiMAX launches with $3.5 billion in funding

Google did Verizon good, after making the 700 MHz spectrum require open access, not buying it and then investing their bid amount in Sprint, they are saying look we are getting what we want at a much less cost and we are not responsible if it fails... which considering the backing it could, I would guess Verizon and ATT better get on the OHA soon... Verizon even had tentative agreements on the andriod os and some phone models, if I were Verizon I would seriously consider some drastic retaliation... 9.99 broadband service would be nice (you can cap us at 50 GIGs a month) and charge 5 dollars for every gig over, and then still hurt wimax significantly.... I think Spring and Google have an interesting idea (not to mention the others) hmm, I wonder if somehow they could now point to GrandCentral providing free sprint phones! not likely, but would be nice...

I am a Google fanboy, and have Verizon, so I am indifferent to who this helps most...
