Does anyone know if AnyDVD supports the Matisha drives that come with the new MacBook Pro computers? Is AnyDVD able to make these drives region free?
1.02 Beta (Jul 13, 2006)
This update seems to add a password protection to your boot options (when you press option at startup you'll have to enter your password before being allowed to choose which OS you can boot).
Also make sure to choose your startup disk when or you'll get a folder with a question mark every time you boot up.
So people think that some drivers have been updated, however others say there is no indication of this - apparently that wasn't a big change.

Great program.
But, they still need to work on the usability and the interface - that's if they can't think of anything else to do.

Finally an update to Windows Media Player! And Microsoft has done it right! The highlight for me is the drag and drop interface that allows you to drag music you want synced (or playlists) unto any device you stick into your computer (usb, pocketpc, sd card, etc.)
Good thing I can dualboot on my MacBook Pro...
My only problem is it won't find .ogg files that are on my computer (even after directshow plugin is installed) - hence the 4 stars out of 5 since OGG is better than any other format.
Speaking of formats - I'd like a 11.5 release in which microsoft supports the h.246 codec officially - so that I won't have to watch stuff in horrible quality ever again on the net.
10.1 Beta 4 (Feb 20, 2006)
This is the most advanced Linux OS right now and is also the first to include XGL (their parent company Novell developed it...)
This release should already include the XGL and Compiz components... can anyone confirm this before I download.
The final version of this release - 10.1 - will definately be worth downloading. It will be a big jump for Linux, and the most advanced complete linux distro (everything already included) out there...
10.1 Beta 4 (Feb 7, 2006 - 4:09 PM)
I think the Cell is actually capable of having multiple processor designs - one for each core. Allowing better support for other operating systems and, say a GPU included in the overall CPU.... at least that's what my understanding is...
Now if this new chip design ends up in the Cell (from the article) then we can definately see the Cell being the best chip around for a Laptop or Desktop machine. Man, I could really use the speed.
Was that 4 to 5 Ghz per cpu core? That would be incredible!
10.1 Beta 4 (Nov 30, 2005 - 10:12 PM)
Whoa! Does mean I can have a Vista Computer by summer 2006?
