  1. Review - OpenOffice.org for Windows

    3.1.0 (May 5, 2009)

Yes, OpenOffice is really great! I love it! But apparently there are good paid alternatives out there, such as Softmaker Office. So could any of you visiting guys make an "expert" review or the like about this shareware product?

    Thanks!

  2. Review - PDFCreator

    0.9.8 (Apr 9, 2009)

It's a good program, but then again one can easily opt for OpenOffice, which produces (in my humble, unexpert opinion) fine PDF files, with bookmarks and all.

By the way, guys, how about a Pro PDF suite for FREE?! Download both versions, install version 4, save its Registry keys, delete all v4 files and then install version 6. Voilà! Works fine for me!

Interested? Grab them quickly, while still available! Here:

  3. Review - EditPad Lite for Windows

    6.4.0 (Mar 3, 2008)

It's a nice editor, but I don't like the horizontal scroll bar. Can't hide it, even when Word Wrap is on for all kind of files. Does anyone out there happen to know where to go and deactivate/hide it?

    Thanks.

  4. Review - Tor for Windows

    0.2.0.9 Alpha (Oct 29, 2007)

    PointZorro:

I live in Brazil, a supposedly "democratic" country. I am a father of two and sure an honest person. However, my condo apartment has all of its rooms "tapped" and all my browsing habits are tracked down, both by my country government and yours, as if I was a terrorist or a criminal. I don't use this kind of program. But don't you think I should? I guess I should and... you too. You should know more about the Puppet Master and the Big Brother, say, here... http://www.zetatalk.com or here... http://educate-yourself.org/ .

    Cheers... ;)

  5. Review - Copperhead AntiSpyware

    2.0 Beta (Jul 5, 2007)

Caution, you guys. This is reported to be a rogue program by another wide-used antispyware app.

  6. Comment - UN conference shines light on technology 'haves' and 'have nots'

    2.0 Beta (Dec 1, 2007 - 5:54 AM)

And I'll give you a reply and let you know (in case you don't know yet) that, usually, posters don't use "names" to make comments, but "nicks". Unless you think "foxfyre" is a nice name for a decent human being...

To some extent, I do agree with you. My country, a "developing" country riddled with bloodsuckers and corruption, ranks among the top nations that commercially grow livestock (and that amounts to millions of millions!). But we do have a great amount of decent (polluting) infrastructure as well and that's also, to a lesser degree, the case of gigantic India and... China etc.

But tell me: Is it possible to form a decent committee out of a bundle of illiterate, robot-like consumptive idiots? If you have this magical formula, please let THEM big shots know about it.
