   I think you'll find that display boxes tend to be put out only if stock is sitting in the warehouse waiting to be sold. There's no point in putting boxes out if there are no consoles around.
   
   So those 11 boxes that are sitting by the door in the store that I work in are empty yes, because the consoles are horribly overpriced. However, the consoles to fill them are in the warehouse.

   I think iamtux is perfectly justified in his comment. If you don't like pre-installed software then don't use it. It's no reason to not buy a certain machine. If it was then Sony would go bust!
   
   I think pre-installing Windows Live on machines is great idea. I think you cyber geeks have lost track of the real world that contains normal people who don't always want to do things for themselves. People want things to be as easy as possible and Windows Live is great for that.
   
   A lot of you guys go beyond geek, some of you are just plain ignorant!

   Insert XP disk open it normally. You'll get a lovely graphical menu. Then you can choose what you want to get rid of.
   
   Having a version of Windows without a web browser is a silly idea and Microsoft can only ship it with their own, makes economical sense.

4. Comment - Intel Introduces WiMAX Wireless Chips

   There will probably be controversy with the whole mobile phones issue. I think that they have proven that microwaves emmitted from mobiles don't harm ones health but there are always skeptics.
   
   I like the sound of this and I've got my fingers crossed that it'll come across the pond to the UK soon.

5. Comment - MS Renames Media Player Free Windows

   Right, so every european is French, that right? For a start the summit is in Belgium. For those Americans among you with your heads so far up your arses that you don't know where Belgium is, it's near France but to the right a bit.
   
   I'm from England and while I may not agree with the EU, I still think that the people using this disagrement as an excuse for racist remarks are pathetic.
   
   Have you ever been to France? It's actually a beautiful country with a rich history and wonderful people. Don't put someone elses country down until you've experienced it, not just seen French delegates on TV but actually been there and spoken to them.
