improvelence, you don't know what you're talking about. This is a godsend to any Vista user, and is highly recommended. This is easily a 5/5.

Love it. I installed the x64 components though, MKV videos seem to be playing too slow. But keep up the good work Shark007!
7.5 (Jun 3, 2007)
Beware: Version 7.5 may not work with your LCD monitor. I cannot get my SyncMaster 940BW to work at 1440x900 @ 60Hz. Buggy buggy buggy. :(

It it were not for the Vista Codec Package and the x64 components then Vista would not be as enjoyable as it is for me. I can now watch the hi-def quicktime movie trailers and Xvid/Divx files in Vista Media Center x64, as well as .mkv and .m2v files. Kudos to the the sharkman, good job and keep up the excellent work.

The only GOOD HDTVs are Pioneer Kuros. All others are just OK.

When I first installed Windows 7 x64 along side Vista x64 SP2 I thought there wasn't much difference between the two and couldn't see any reason to upgrade. After using Win7 for a couple of months now I find myself using it primarily instead of Vista. It runs a tad bit better, looks better, feels snappier.... just enough to convince me to upgrade.

Nice, Vista SP2 feels about as quick as Windows 7. I like it.

Actually, I think that x64 codecs has by and large cought up to x86. Install the Vista Codecs Package and x64 add-on, and you can play anything. I have Vista Home Premium x64 and am watching xvid, divx, mkv files etc. with Vista Media Center.
