1. Comment - Intel Plans New Offensive Against AMD

   Not sure about that. One of the oft-overlooked benefits of Intel chips is built in temperature sensing and automatic clock speed compensation if it gets too hot. Whereas, if the fan falls off your Athlon, you're screwed...it'll go right ahead and cook itself to death. I liked AMD a lot, but believe it or not I had this exact experience in a custom-ordered Athlon PC, just a few months after reading about this difference in fact. The PC had to be sent back because it was fried.

2. Comment - MSN Spaces Update a Little Bumpy

   One thing not mentioned is incompatibility with Firefox, at least for photo uploading. This is a serious downer for many people who use MSN's services (like Hotmail) but prefer Firefox. Luckily, Yahoo Photos not only offers a much better interface, that's not tied to any one browser, but it offers unlimited storage, compared to MSN Spaces' measly 500MB, which compresses photos to web-size but doesn't allow people to view the originals.

3. Comment - AOL Preps Image Makeover on AOL.com

   Okay, the web site will be viewable from any OS, but the client software (browser, radio, everything but Instant Messenger) is being developed exclusively for Windows. So as far as I know a lot of this great new content will be Windows-only.
