  1. Review - AOL Instant Messenger for Windows

    6.2.14.2 Beta (May 25, 2007)

Needs more advertisements. i'm not sure i've had enough random ads talking to me that i cant mute or obnoxious banners stuffed in my buddy list. they could easily put some banner ads in the IM windows.

AOL, if you're going to advertise, you could at least look into doing it through something that wasn't completely obnoxious! It's not like there aren't better IM clients for your protocol

  2. Review - Quake 3 Source Code

    1.32b (Aug 20, 2005)

someone remake team fortress for quake one using the same rules and only slightly upgraded graphics

    go go go!

  3. Review - Microsoft Messenger for Mac

    5.0 (Aug 10, 2005)

The consistency of disappointing messenger products for macs from Microsoft is a clear indication of their inability to give the consumer what it wants. Yahoo and AOL have had their ducks in a row for years. What exactly changed besides them going from a really bloated “msn” messenger to a slightly skinnier “Microsoft” messenger. A change in themes shouldn’t warrant a new version. If that’s all the genius barn over in Redmond can come up with, this will be the last Microsoft “release” I download for quite some time.

  4. Review - Netscape Navigator for Windows

    8.0 (May 19, 2005)

congratulations on the most heinous browser design job to date. clearly design took a back seat to functionality on this turd. hopefully for all the windows users who plan on making this their everydayer they'll have some themeing options, but i wouldnt hold my breath

  5. Review - Winamp 5 Full

    RC 8 (Nov 20, 2003)

I like the custom *feature* that lets me take screen shots of it playing a video and when i paste them into photoshop the video continues playing in photoshop. now thats a special bug :)

Why don't you stop trying to be the Fox News of the computing world. The last 2 now very infrequent visits I've made to this site have been so overly clouded with biased, pro-Microsoft bile, I've been completely turned off by this whole site. Save your VIEWPOINTs for your personal blogs and save us the fluff. Between this crap and that ego maniac that posts his picture in all his articles, I'm struggling to find a reason to entertain garnering this site with hits.

  8. Comment - Harris Poll: More Americans own HD DVD consoles than Blu-ray

    RC 8 (Jun 21, 2009 - 7:23 PM)

when you think about how many times you'll watch those any of those movies ever again (maybe once) and you factor in the availability of rentals elsewhere for 1/4th the price to own (netflix, apple tv, xbox live, redbox, etc), why are you spending all that money on something that's not: a) getting you laid, b) at all convenient to manage, c) allowing you to save money you could be spending on things worth buying like cars, clothes, or theater tickets to imax showings? Like seriously... what the hell bro? that's way too much poured into collectable junk. You're like one of those OCD mofos that can't throw anything away!

thats because "****" blu-ray, sony, and the politics behind the whole deal that led to the more expensive unfinished players winning the "war." i download my movies now and use the hd dvd player as a really nice upconverter, though it saddens me that some of the new flicks (transformers 2) will not be on my coveted hd player. definitely doesnt make me want to run out and buy a blu-ray player after all the shenanigans that ensued in the "format war" for sony to win. also, root kits and all that mess. still dont own a ps3, have no inclination to.
