  1. Review - AOL Instant Messenger for Windows

    0.5.15 Beta (Sep 3, 2005)

Looks nice, but we all know what they say about a pretty face, and teaching an old dog new tricks. I think the whole thing about being able to chose having the ad in the buddy window or the chat window is hilarious. How about NO WHERE AOL? Or atleast do like Yahoo and put the thing in a chat room window. I agree what the person said about not making software for novices. You need to make your program totally customizeable. Neither MSN, Yahoo or AOL have came out with an impressive chat app in quite some time, so I'm going to stick with Trillian.

  2. Comment - PayPal Blocks Hurricane Relief Funds

    0.5.15 Beta (Sep 6, 2005 - 7:12 AM)

"...the United Way is PayPal's relief organization of choice."

I've never even heard of "United Way". And how can one relief organization be any different than another? The American Red Cross has been around a lot longer and I'm sure is a lot more wide spread. You don't go to WalMart.com or Apple.com and see them asking you to donate to United Way. This is just a way of the eBay company being more stubborn & difficult.

    0.5.15 Beta (Sep 3, 2005 - 11:26 PM)

I Microsoft DOES have alpha and beta versions I'd hate to see them, especially after seeing the final releases.

  5. Comment - Can IM Reshape the Future of AOL?

    0.5.15 Beta (Aug 27, 2005 - 2:38 PM)

AIM and Yahoo bundle to much crap with their messengers. MSN isn't that bad, but they have those tabs that you can't customize. I use Trillian for all my messengers. It's clean and simple. I like Google Talk, but none of my stubborn friends will get it...

  6. Comment - iPod Battery Settlement Approved

    0.5.15 Beta (Aug 27, 2005 - 2:31 PM)

Gee, what a ruling! People who paid $99 to get a battery replaced get $50 back? HOORAY! *Rolls eyes* Apple isn't out any by doing that! They should have to refund the whole $99 because it was their fault to begin with.
