    CPU-Z is a similar program to WCPUID but it shows voltage and clock speeds in real time. It also displays a chart for Cache Latency. It's freeware and available here: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php The issues of missing images and no 'real time' displays are problems that need to be addressed in WCPUID.

    A good idea, at least for the Start Menu, but I already sort my Start Menu by deleting the MenuOrder/Start Menu folder in the registry by running an INF at boot up. I don't sort my Favorites because it messes up my Links bar. Anyone that moves their shortcut entries to subfolders off the main Program's Start Menu, would find this utility useful.

  4. Review - Media Player Classic for Windows 2000/XP

    I use this program for audio files (not MP3s) but that's about it, because it loads fast. I don't use it for video because you can't adjust Brightness, Contrast, Hue and Saturation for most of the video file types and the controls are awkward to use. Media Player 9 has the color controls on the screen while the video is playing and they work for most file types.

    This program still takes 10 seconds to load using Win2k. If 1.20b does the same thing I'll give the program 1 star. All but one version prior to 1.19a worked fine.

    Now Comcast needs to offer a lower priced tier. 1500/256 for $15 dollars less. The speed I had last year was fast enough.
