Bottjena, you are the reason people have to block out others in there instant messengers cuz most people want to talk to people they know and not annoying people that search up people randomly. Do us all a favor and don't instant message anyone for now on that you don't know! It's annoying.
4.0 (May 2, 2000)
about time! this rocks....works good. a little choppy though, but not bad since the audio is perfect and i've been having problems with audio in windvd 2000 in windows 2000. So this is a big improvement for my 500 Athlon. ONly problem i'm having is with the new ATI drivers for my All In Wonder 128 32mb video card. Are the WDM files not updated since the last win2k beta drivers? Cuz when i check the version with the supplied checkver.exe, it seems that the video drivers update but the WDM files are apparently older ones. How can I fix this? I've tried deleting them from the Sounds and Multimedia Control Panel and then install the new ones, but it still has the same version number for the WDM files. Currently i can't play any video in my 1600x1200 res cuz of the WDM files I think. The video only shows the left half of the screen and stretches over the whole screen. Has anyone gotten this to work in 1600x1200? Well, the dvd is very good, just the drivers aren't. And why hasn't betanews said anything about the new drivers yet? oh well...please help if you can...i'll check back here if you have any answers.
6.0 Preview Release 1 (Apr 6, 2000)
This is horrific. Anarki, why would everyone want to save up and spend tons of money to get a new computer so than can just run Netscape 6 faster. Thats so f@cking stupid. Think about it, people can use IE 5/5.5 SMOOTHLY and still be on a slow machine. Besides, Nutscrape is so far behind in technology, they can't get pages to render right and other stupid s***. IE will forever be better than Nutscrape's Navigator. This is sad that they released this BS just because the verdict of MS came out the other day. You know its true you lames a** Nutscrape users. Don't even try to deny it. Nutscrape has been whining for too long now and they are just trying to look good here...how pathetic. Seems that they just make themselves look worse by putting out crap like this. Sorry, but you all know that I'm telling the truth. Just ask Web page developers how much netscape sucks, and that is your answer to whether netscape should just give up now.
3.8A Beta (Feb 18, 2000)
yaaaaaayyyyyy! ATI is finally puting out drivers for 2000. But I can't complain, other companies won't or will take forever for this to happen. I'm glad to see ATI isn't lagging behind...I can't wait until the multimedia center finally gets done...cuz I really can't stand to go into windows 98 SE anymore...even for the multimedia stuff.
Beta Build 121 (Feb 15, 2000)
didn't open up in win2k for me either...hope they fixed that...and i have the latest version btw
Beta Build 121 (Sep 20, 2000 - 10:11 AM)
like always...life treats linux lovers unfairly....whatever, i've heard enough. linux is wonderful server software, but will never win out to windows in regular users....yeah, even on betanews. so stop your crying over the ballot and accept the fact that linux has a major downfall...(it sucks for almost all practical purposes).
Beta Build 121 (Jun 29, 2000 - 5:50 AM)
Everyone should know now....
this project has no chance of knocking off IE...what a stupid thing to think. Get over it, when Nutscrape sold out they became total s*** and will stay that way. Sorry, but face the facts.
Use whatever you want, but think logically people.
Beta Build 121 (Jun 27, 2000 - 4:48 PM)
hahhahahahahahhahahaha.....
its because Microsoft produces results
go MS! down with Nutscrape
Beta Build 121 (Mar 23, 2000 - 11:16 AM)
Wow, i'm trying this DivX encoder now...this works so nice. so far i just changed a 270 mb mpg file into a 70 mb avi file with the same quality. Now i'm trying to backup a dvd and see if i can get it all on one cd with double the res i used before. =] This is insane. You gotta try it out for yourself.
Beta Build 121 (Feb 10, 2000 - 9:16 PM)
hey mathematica user...you keep it up and wolfram research will get pissed and snail mail you a form where you have to fill out your reason for reinstalling mathematica and sign it. After they get the form then they will send you a new password. I reinstalled it so much cuz i reformatted a lot when i was on win9x. They've got you....its just a question of when.
