It still needs improvement for drivers and identification of them.
As for Floodland it is obvious I have Intel Chipsets but the obvious point is it is directing me to Intel m/b's that I do not own and the drivers that go with them.
If I were to install their suggestions system would not work do to "wrong drivers being recommended" .
Program must be taken with a grain of salt and do your research before installing and this also includes the program from DriverMax as it comes up with tons of drivers and if you install the wrong one poof.
It is best to identify your m/b and go to the maker ie Asus and download from there.
Intelchip set inf file is most of the time updates what you have but that can be found at the intel web site as can the maker of your vid card.
Go to the proper source first before you use any of these programs recommendations
Also Win7 has proper update files for most things ie network card, monitor though recommend going to the maker of the monitor for drivers.
This/these are a lazy persons way of toasting your system and I stand by this comment as I rant and rave about what a a** that. Floodland is and learn to read.

Program does what it says it does but..........
Why even bother with it or nag screens when Microsoft Power Toys XP has a right click and resize tool. http://www.microsoft.com...ertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx
Never mind that there is a Alternative for Vista/Win7 since April/09 http://imageresizer.code...es.aspx?ReleaseId=26281
There is no need for this program and I hope it goes open source as there are to many alternatives that can do the job better, faster and quicker
If you can find it Ulead Smartsaver Pro 3.0 (date 2000) will reduce # of colors to make pics web smart and it still works in Win7, if have a version installed just copy the folder to xp/vista/win7 and make a shortcut. Works just fine
G' Luck VSO!

GUI does not work with Win7, sized wrong.
Speed test is inaccurate with a Abit AW9D-Max with a E8400, reports it at benchmark and not the stock over clock of Abit boards nor does it report properly the right speed when I go Turbo with it.
If you really want to know it was close but it is the same results as the free Intel Processor Identification Utility which is close but off the actual over clocked benchmark.
Rate high for GUI, Rate low for actual usefulness for real results.

I agree with previous review.
Microsoft is not the end all of everything nor is nor should it be allowed to be.
I limit all MS junk on all my systems and and stand by the fact I support 2nd & 3rd party developers.
MS you will loose this game or throw it in the trash bin like all other good applications you have acquired and destroyed over the years.
When "you" seek public input as per Win7 or been held up against the wall like Win XP users you again do well.
Your force feeding of new applications and learning curves is not at all wanted especially in a down turn economy.
I would rather support what I know and trust in Flash and Java than play your Master of the Universe Game.

I do not usually review programs that I have not tried.
With that said I find it very strange that the people who decide what is said about this program did not address previous reviews comments/reviews of the program. This in it self is not that strange but when people suggest mapping ports and ports are left open even after uninstalling the program I would think THIS would be a must to address.
Since it was not addressed, no down load, no install and a 1 for ignoring us "your" public!

What a wack of BS this guy is.
I would take any software that gets updated and fixed regardless of who makes it over software that does not.
For Firefox at least it advises you that there is a update available and there is nothing to worry about with the install. No reboot needed.
I only wish that they would incorporate this type of updating in Mozilla SeaMonkey as that is my preference of a browser.
As for fighting over a browser, who cares as long as people develop their web pages using the standard of ANY Web Browser as per www.anybrowser dot org/campaign/

Figures MS would do something like this.
They should be providing it free.
