Propensity for violence comes from playing violent video games? Propensity for eating s***ty food perhaps, but violence?
I've met thousands of gamers from all walks of life around the world, and none of them are particularly violent (the vast majority are pretty well balanced). If gaming does increase the tendency for violent thought, it never seems to manifest itself into anything beyond a bit of healthy competitive spirit.
Likewise I know a lot of violent people, and most of them have little to no interest in video games at all. Their focus is usually far more entrenched in real world pursuits...like sport, or crime.
Wouldn't it be more productive to have a think about what REALLY causes violent behaviour and try to address that?
Conclusions like this just don't make sense, unless you look at them in the context of the usual "family values" politicking. Video gaming has always been a scapegoat, something that arouses ire amongst the usual middle aged suspects because it conflicts with their preconceptions and fits nicely into the blame hole they've dug over the years.
Attitudes have to change about this...video games reflect reality, not the other way around.

The internet IS porn. The internet wouldn't be what it is today without it, and if we're talking capitalism, then that should be the overriding factor in any decision.
US govt. censoring ICANN over porn for moral reasons? Gimme a break, the US makes billions from internet porn - a LOT more than the rest of the world does. If anything, establishing a XXX suffix will have an effect on the incidental revenue which comes from the inability to filter porn as things are now.
Establishing a XXX suffix will make it easier for entire countries to filter porn, which will seriously cut into the vast income the US receives as a a result of their present inability to effectively filter it.
Or perhaps Dubya's just having problems in the sack...?

Google should be better than this - CNet/ZDNet may well be rubbish, granted - but this is Google we're talking about.
Not only is their reaction incredibly petty, but it also draws 1000000x more attention to the very facts they didn't want to be published in the first place. Time for Google to leave egos at the door and have a think about PR.

Cheaper option:
Undo a generic keyboard and change the letters around. Just as confusing, just as good for improving your touch typing (perhaps even more confusing actually).

...for all of those reasons. You forgot to mention that a lot of iRivers come with Sennheiser earphones too. ;)
Hard for me to imagine why people spend on iPod... the H10 is the same price as an iPod Mini - but it has a colour screen, OGG support, etc etc. Sound quality's been on a steady decline for iPod ever since 2nd gen - comparing side by side with the H series iRivers leaves little doubt about which one's better. MPIO (also popular in Korea) sounds considerably better too.
Apple ARE more of a marketing company than they are a serious hardware manufacturer these days. iPod Socks? Sure does...
