  1. Comment - Sony: PS3 Supplies to Improve by May

PS3 is going to be the biggest bust of this generation, and Nintendo will reclaim its throne.

Trends don't change. Nintendo is #1 right now and there is no reason it will fall. 3rd party games are only going to get better and better because developers are going to focus on making games for the #1 seller of systems.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the whole thing turns out. But on your PS2 vs Wii graphics view, I would have to say the graphics on the Gamecube were much better than the PS2 and comparable to the XBox even though the processor speed, memory size, etc. were much more impressive on the XBox.

The Wii doesn't have 5 year old graphics. The graphics engine and processor are powerhouses and it will take developers a few years to make games that meet its potential. If you're basing your opinion on Zelda, that game was made for the gamecube and was just ported over. You'll see in the near future that the graphics quality will be excellent and gameplay will be second to none.

By the way, who has a 1080p television anyway? And who will soon? I read an article in business week that you can't see the difference between 1080p and 720 unless your standing right in front of the television. It's wasted technology especially for this generation of video game systems.

  4. Comment - Nintendo Retracts One Million Wiis Promise, Outsells PS3 Anyway

I tried out the Wii at gamespot this past weekend and it sucks. Half the time it kept telling me to aim the controller at the screen when playing Zelda, but the controller was practically touching the screen. It was cumbersome to use and I can't imagine playing through the whole game with it.

The only game systems I have ever had are the nes, n64, and gamecube. But for this generation I am switching to the XBox 360. It looks like the best of the 3 systems.
