You should check again -- it is a QWERTZ keyboard -- its being released in Germany, with a German keyboard layout.

Yeah because their product was a little too good.. The automatic commercial skip and the internet video sharing features got them nearly sued out of existence. I still have my 4000 series, along with a TivoHD and the feature set and capabilities are on par with the Tivo -- puts the crappy cable company DVRs to shame.

Before you guys go clowning on the whole patent thing, try reading up on the history of the case.. Its been going on for several years now, and it started when eBay approached MercExchange about *buying* MercExchange's patent portfolio several years ago, but then backed out.. eBay had been using 3 of 4 of MercExchange's patents.. eBay already HAD a judgement issued against it from this case about 3 years ago, and has been appealing it.

No, not more sales for them..
Less sales for them. Apple Computer is primarily a hardware company, NOT a software company.. If they begin offering the software for sale, there is no incentive to buy their hardware. They can't sell enough software to make up what they would lose from the decrease in hardware sales.

Sure they can -- when it was an executive that signed non-compete clauses when he was first taken on by the company.
