6.06 LTS (Jun 2, 2006)
I am a novice Linux user. Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Dapper Drake) worked perfectly for me on the first try. (Other Linux distros have been a hassle.) Dapper Drake is tops!
1.27.260 (Feb 14, 2006)
CCleaner v1.27.260 may be installed without the Yahoo! toolbar. You are forced to agree to the license agreement which is largely Yahoo! legalese. If you do not agree to the license terms, the installation is terminated. Only later in the install process are you presented the opportunity to skip the toolbar. This is clumsy. Thanks to SG1969 for pointing out that the toolbar is optional. (He had no problem--guess he does not read license agreements.) Excellent utility!

COMMENT (not a review): It seems LOGICAL and appropriate to list this plugin here where FileForum users are apt to find it. Thanks to orbitalbleu. -SantaRosa Steve
2.0.0.2 (Oct 30, 2004)
PTFB (Push the Freakin' Button) 2.0.0.2 is NOT FREEWARE. It is the trial version of PTFB Pro ($29.99 USD). If you need the most recent version, download it.
PCWorld.com lists the FINAL FREE version of PTFB at . It is identified as version 1.06.3, however the PCWorld download is PTFB1064.zip (version 1.0.6.4).

5.30 (Oct 23, 2004)
I have been using and enjoying 123 Free Solitaire 2003 Version 5.11 - Mar 19, 2003, TreeCardGames.com . It is definitely FREEWARE! I am downloading Version 5.30 right now and will post an update if it not freeware. Some features are crippled--undo does not work in the free version--but when I consider the price, I give it the highest rating.

NO NEW FEATURE CUT (TODAY) FROM VISTA, AFTER ALL
Contrary to earlier reports, Microsoft is not cutting another Vista feature (at least not today. A Microsoft exec at TechEd Australia misspoke. Microsoft will not eliminate the ability to play HD-DVD and/or Blu-Ray content on 32-bit Vista machines. "It is up to the ISVs providing playback solutions to determine whether the intended playback environment, including environments with a 32-bit CPU, meets the performance requirements to allow high definition playback while supporting the guidelines set forth by the content owners," Microsoft said via an e-mail statement. "No version of Windows Vista will make a determination as to whether any given piece of content should play back or not. Nothing has changed regarding our policies or development plans, which we addressed at WinHEC this past May, and nothing has been 'cut.'"

imaturby suggests two Vista versions. Microsoft is planning at least five! We will need a 'dummies' book just to choose the right one.
