   What I don't understand why everyone thinks that the development model says anything about the quality of the program. FlashFXP is a solid program as is Filezilla. Of course there are tons of bad quality software both free- and payware, please don't turn this platform into a discussion board about religious oss fanatism. FlashFXP IS a good example that there is indeed software well worth paying a few bucks for it :)

   Hi,
   SideBySide configuration errors are hard to track down. Can you check the Application Event log (Control-Panel/Administrative tools/Eventlog) for the first occurence of an error from the source "SideBySide". Open the details for the error. If you could post the error description here it would be easier for me to see which dependency failed and fix this in the installer of VistaOEM. If it is not too much trouble :-(

   Why anyone sane to his mind would want to use a Webserver in his application to edit settings for locally installed codecs (mplayer) is just beyond me. It would make sense if it was a transcoding server in a network. But for a local-only-app. And then tying the badly designed interface to a specific browser. Geez what year is this? 1998? The developer(s?) really must have smoked some bad stuff... Yuck, this software sucks!

   This program is a usability nightmare. The UI gets in your way in every possible way you can imagine. It's just horrible nothing else.
