  1. Review - Media Player Classic for Windows 2000/XP

    6.4.9.1 Beta 20080104 (Jan 4, 2008)

I can't believe what echohead said. This is the best player and least problematic player ever. I put it on all of my client's PC's becuse of that. Every other player choke on something, this one doesn't - especially if you know how to set it up, but if you install it through kl-codec, you have at least 36-48 problems less. That's approx. number :). I used to install ll codecs manually, but I figured as kl-codec+MPC have every codec I use and a good bunch of codecs I don't use... it wasn't a tough decision to cut down some installing time.

    Cheers!

  2. Review - Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3

    SP3 Build 3264 RC1 (Jan 2, 2008)

Slipstreamed it with nLite into a nice cut-down XPSP2 install, works great for me and a dozen of users and customers I installed it to, but as you can see from other posts YMMV :). Especially with upgrading a working SP2, it seems. I did a Ghost backup before upgrading, and I wholeheartedly recommend doing it. So far, I can only praise it. File system is faster, CD/DVD recognition is faster, even webpages load faster. All in all, it works smoother than SP2, and I didn't find any bugs so far, only fixes.

I really like where this is going. This will be the best Windows ever. Bravo MicroSoft! [and both thumbs down for Vista...]

    Cheers!

  3. Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

Yea right. Internet Explorer, right. They still make it?

  4. Review - ReactOS

    0.3.3 (Sep 14, 2007)

Well, I don't think you have to use *IE* only, or dotnet apps. I know I don't and I have no need for any of them. I don't get the point. It is highly subjective what one needs and for me ReactOS is doing more than just fine.

Keep up the good work guys! I want to be able to use it as a DAW, but Im not sure it supports ASIO at this stage. Thanks!

The best, smallest, fastest, Explorer replacement out there. After installing it, I don't use Explorer anymore.
