   Just wanted to tip people off to a little known fact. While one apple robot is out there saying that its the same coating as on earlier ipods, another has publically stated that they started using a new clear gloss coating when they introduced the black ipods, so that they would maintain a consistent 'look.' So by its own words, apple is directly lying to you, the consumer. Think different. Think scam.
