  1. Review - nVIDIA ForceWare Drivers for Windows XP/2003 (64-bit)

    162.15 Beta (Jun 28, 2007)

BSOD occurs immediately after call the NV Cpl, no way to avoid it. I was forced to return to old stable 91.47.
    Windows XP x64, GF 6800.

  2. Review - Miranda IM

    0.7 Test Build 8 (Jan 11, 2007)

As it can be read in the release notes, this version is primarily for testing the development of new menu interface. I would like to suggest all non-beta people don't use it and wait for the next more stable beta.

  3. Review - Miranda IM

    0.4.0.3 Build 42 (Dec 19, 2005)

I'm using Miranda more than 3 years and count it much better than other multiproticol IMs. I always try to install the last beta release and give my "two penny" to program development as free tester.

Warning! This release is a kind of night build, some functions and plugins could run incorrect in particular configurations. If you don't want to test Miranda, it would be better to download the last stable release. Otherwise, please carefully read the release notes and comments in developers weblog:

  4. Review - RootkitRevealer

    1.5 (Jun 23, 2005)

Excellent idea, version 1.4 worked well.
Unfortunately, version 1.5 is crushed on XP SP2 with x86-64 CPU: DEP error occurs. Wait until corrected version will be issued.

  6. Comment - Windows Server 2008 'The Last 32-bit Operating System'

    1.5 (May 17, 2007 - 9:49 AM)

    Excellent, long-awaited decision! But...

Microsoft, where are new x64 applications? Where is Office 2007 64-bit?

Sorry, I forgot that I will be able to buy the new miraculous 64-bit Office 2008 (2009, etc.) and be happy again, as always. Excuse me.

  7. Comment - Users Upset at Outlook HTML Change

    1.5 (Jan 31, 2007 - 4:19 PM)

Yes, imagine, that IT management in your organisation decided to upgrade the messaging system and deploy the Outlook 2007. But they also decided that full upgrade to Office 2007 would be too expensive, and current Office versions remain intact. In official system requirements there is no any notes about Word or other Office versions. Will Outlook 2007 really able to work with Word 2003 or XP?

  9. Comment - It's Time: Windows Vista Goes Gold

    1.5 (Nov 8, 2006 - 6:34 PM)

You are almost right. Take the current SP2 as a base, add all Tuesday's patches, bundle some add-ons as IE7, WMP 11, .NET 3.0, ActiveSync, Windows Defender and MSN Messenger, and finally test them all for compatibility. I mean this will be SP3, you can name it roll-up - no matter...
