    1.0.613 Beta (Jun 24, 2005)

I had the same experience as Zimu installed without a hitch with some extra added features. I higly recommended even if not a fan of MS.

Until they actually come out with a permanent version so that it can fix the bugs in outlook express I am giving them a 1. Even though this is a beta version for outlook express they claim or have you beleive that it is supposed support Outlook Express version 5, 5.5,& 6 and all OS platforms. I have Microsoft XP PRO with Outlook Express 6 and the program installed without a hitch but once installed and attempted to open msin.exe the outlook express program it either failed to open or crashed my outlook. So much for their support for outlook express.

I did for deal or no deal because they had the lucky case contest didn't know they did have one for survivor but wouldn't do it for that show even if knew.

Maybe they threw in that clause because they knew they might be subject to those kind of lawsuits at some point in the future because maybe they know that their services aren't as good as they make everyone seem to think they are.

As for the pending class action lawsuit even though I am not a verizon customer/subscriber thankfully, maybe we all should be able to start a class action lawsuit against our own carriers for the same thing. But is it really the carriers that people should be going after? The $0.99 is the game show contests rules/regulations is it not? I have done some of those contests as mentioned above deal or no deal and such and I don't agree with the $0.99 per text fee which is ridiculous. Why don't the standard rates and or fees of each carrier apply? The game show's contests are paid for fully by the shows sponsors or networks.

Maybe we should all go after each of our own carriers for early termination fees when all that is done when someone's service gets shut off is the flick of a switch per say well more like a click of the computer. Granted maybe there is some paperwork involved but I seriously doubt it costs $175 + to get all that done when it's a matter of seconds that your service is shut off if you get to the point of getting your service shut off.

AOL is supposed to be top notch and supposedly number one in the online industry so it says and has you to think. So why does everyone hate and despise them so much? I'll tell you why, it's because of their many flaws in their system and programs and because it tries to take over everything else on your computer once installed. The one and only reason why AOL is used by so many people is because of it's so user friendly. So with them constantly raises prices for internet service are they actually providing you with more or better service, NO I don't think so. AOL is nothing but an expensive monopoly industry that strides to prove it's #1 when it's not.

Even the proper resources aren't helping this so called internet giant that strides itself to be #1. Yeah IE has it's problems but it alot more stable and secure than it's Gecko predecessor. The AOL Gecko browser will never compete or even come close to matching IE. Only when you use Gecko browser alone such as with Netscape navigator/communcator does it work well. You mix it with AOL's resources it doesn't work well together. They may act like they are one together but it sure doesn't look like it.
