9.5 Refresh Beta 14 (0.4337.93.1) (Aug 12, 2009)
I thought these reviews were for reviewing the posted software, not bashing AOL.
If you don't like AOL, then don't use it!!!!!
8.0.298.0 (Mar 30, 2009)
So sad that they still won't make the Free version Vista 64 bit compatible.
8.5.278a1439 (Mar 3, 2009)
HMMM, not for Vista or is the info wrong?
And is this actually the free version?
AVG web site is very confusing as to the latest version for free, 8 or 8.5.
Answered my own questions, yes it is 8.5, even though a hover over of the download button says 8.0 and it is for Vista.
9.5 (0.4337.24.1) (Feb 13, 2009)
The listed version # is incorrect.
The actual version # is 4337.29 and this GMed yesterday.
Great version of AOL with tabbed browsing.
And I so wish that BetaNews would pull the bashing posts and actual stick to those that actual rate the software.
4.25.0.1008 Beta (Jan 14, 2009)
Thank you BetaNews, now that is a correct and working build.
4.25.0.1008 Beta (Jun 25, 2009 - 1:49 PM)
Only $50.00 here.
4.25.0.1008 Beta (Jun 24, 2009 - 6:53 PM)
Is the above download build # wrong? It says 1.0.1487.0, yet what I have is 1.0.1407.0. Using Update Essentials under Help says I have the latest.
4.25.0.1008 Beta (Jun 24, 2009 - 11:47 AM)
It did not uninstall Windows Defender on my Vista PC, maybe because I have Defender disabled?
4.25.0.1008 Beta (Apr 2, 2009 - 11:19 AM)
Have this option with Optimum.
It's a great feature and can be turned off for us.
4.25.0.1008 Beta (Jul 9, 2008 - 2:30 PM)
The rumor I heard was that Zone Alarm wasn't privy to secret meetings help between MS and other firewall companies.
Therefore they had no warning of this update.
