Hey Morningdove, version 3 can now optimize file placement; optimize free space; identify and display individual fragmented files. Great stuff!

Wow look, it only took Adobe three weeks to fix the critical vulnerability :-/
But why is now the standard version larger than the lite version!?

EDIT 1: Sorry I meant the standard version is now *smaller* than the lite version, it was the opposite with the previous release! Are Adobe trying to fool us into something?
EDIT 2: What, the critical vulnerability hasn't been fixed yet!?

LOL @ mjm01010101 :)
Either that or they post an update just to get another chance to infect us with that #!%& Google toolbar.

Strange, this file (Diskeeper2007-Professional.exe) is the same that I downloaded at October 17, 2006. Even though this version was released today (Diskeeper Pro 11.0.686.1). The MD5 checksum is still 1dd3afdcbb83a660dde52c823183cbe3.

The word "ubiquitous" is ubiquitous in this article!! Not to say over used.

Thanks, but...
"As you purchased Nero with a recorder, you have an OEM version that can only be used with that single recorder. OEM versions are limited versions, which do not contain all features. The manufacturer of the recorder decides about the features which will be implemented in the Nero OEM version. That means your version of Nero does not include all features of the full (=retail) version".

It´s too expensive! It is more expensive than the DVD burner hardware even. They should make a lite version with only the burning application for say $30-35.

That´s not HD-DVD. That´s WMV-HD on a regular DVD. That´s old stuff, Terminator II Extreme was out 1½ years ago on this format for example.
If it was HD-DVD you had indeed taken a time machine into 2006 and bought a 15 or 30 GB disc with HD content with MPEG-4 AVC or Microsoft VC-1 compression, instead of being stuck here with a 9 GB DVD with WMV-HD compression that you can only play on your computer.

It was a nice initiative though filming it in HD... :-P

No you can´t. Even if you could buy HD-DVDs, what player would you use to watch it?
