  1. Review - Logitech SetPoint (32-bit)

    4.70 (Dec 10, 2008)

I just successfully installed this package on Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server. 460 failed to install. Just being able to know when the batteries are low make it well worth the time involved in installing. I use the EX110 keyboard and mouse. BTW I am running SP2 of 2003 which uses the same kernel that the new Vista SP2 will be using. If I can have all the buttons on my mouse and keyboard working on Server, Vista and XP are a walk in the park. Good work Logitech.

  2. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v3)

    3.0 Alpha 8 (Sep 21, 2007)

I have been using Gran Paradiso since it was first submitted as a beta, it was listed as Minefield for a while and now with this release they changed the name back. I have had no problems throughout the updates. I have been using it as my main browser.

  3. Review - Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows XP

    7.0 Beta 2 Preview (Jan 31, 2006)

Beta 1 version is much better than this version. When I installed this version (after uninstalling the beta 1, required) I lost the ability to view html in Outlook 2003. On the pro side it is a lot more stable than the beta 1 version. on the con side right clicking on a link gives you only the choices of IE 6, the toolbar was much, much better in beta 1. I woun up uninstalling it.

  4. Review - Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)

Network Installation Package (Aug 10, 2004)

Works well with my computers. The main thing I like about the Windows Firewall other than passing Symantec's firewall check in all areas (no other firewall installed) is the ability to use applications in selected subnets. This file cannot be slipstreamed so it is not the full service pack so the full network version will be even bigger.

  7. Comment - Microsoft, Mozilla Disagree Over JavaScript's Future

    Network Installation Package (Nov 3, 2007 - 8:37 PM)

Here is a silly thought... how about leaving the decision to SUN and leave it PURE Java.

  8. Comment - 5 IE Flaws Patched with 14 Others

    Network Installation Package (May 9, 2007 - 2:07 PM)

I had to uninstall the update for IE7 (cumulative update) on my machine it rendered IE7 unusable.

  9. Comment - Automakers to Improve Hybrid Engine

    Network Installation Package (Aug 13, 2006 - 2:54 PM)

If the electric motor is coupled with a CVT it will run ALL speeds efficiently. It is propoganda that electric means slow. Wake up, we need to break the dependance of using internal combustion to propel cars.
