I agree. They pass plenty of these laws, but seldom enforce them. WA state already has a no texting while driving law and a really weak (non-primary offense) hands-free law. I have yet to see a difference. I still am frequently seeing or involved in near-misses with violators. I sure am glad that officers will go way out of the way to find and issue a citation for not wearing a seatbelt, but not for these types of things. Either they are trying to keep me safe for when I get side-swiped or t-boned by one of these idiots (that they fail to deter) or maybe not wearing a seatbelt is much more of a danger to others than texting/holding a cell to your head. Maybe law enforcement is waiting/working on a catchy slogan and ad campaign before they get serious about it and start ticketing regularly.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me too. Placed my order anyway and called in later. After talking to someone who didn't even know about the launch and offer, it was eventually revealed to me that because of upgrade eligibility (time left on contract) that I was only able to get a partial discount price of $299 instead of the $179 that was indicated. Will be eligible for full upgrade pricing shortly after October 22nd, but that wasn't enough to get the full discount pricing. Kind of screwed-up if you ask me. I cancelled my order. I can wait a couple of extra weeks to save some $$ and will get a chance to see how it works for those who do get theirs on Oct 22nd.

Chrome, IE, FF....blah, blah, blah. All this talk about the "Big 3". Have any of you tried Opera lately? Perhaps you should give it a try.
