I don't use Bootskin myself , but a comment of someone here is inaccurate . You don't HAVE to use a Wincustomize subscription to download bootskins. I don't have a WC subscription ( yet ) and yet I've been able to download plenty of themes for my apps from the site. I can't see how this is any different

reply to the previous comment. You use Trillian so that you can be connected to all the respective IM services AT THE SAME TIME. I use it for AIM/MSN/ICQ, and it works for all three, with a smaller memory footprint than some of the standalone clients.

This is much better than the versions of AOL ( Canada ) I have used in the past. The address book, email and downloading functionality ( which were my pet peeves ) is vastly improved over 5.0 I cannot comment on IE 5.5 , simply because I use a browserless build of AOL and use IE5 under 98SE and had problems with IE5.5 under ME.
I have had no problems installing it on either 98SE or Millenium and few problems running it. ( I did have a graphics disply problem in ME , but I suspect that this was due to incompatable video card drivers under ME/WindwBlinds and had nothing to do with AOL )

and of course you took the time to read the agreement which says plainly that MY SEARCH BAR will be installed , which is a piece of spyware, amongst others probably.
Piece of advice. Don't trust a firewall to stop spyware.

1st. Who says I use AOL's AV solution .
2nd. I usually check all AOL email for attachments when I open AOL mail. and no I don't count social engineering attempts like the InstaKiss, AOL billing scam .. etc as virii/trojans.
