wtf is this? Who needs this anyway, besides pure newbies :| God M$, waste your time and money on something that people will actually use...such as.....a new *nix based Os ;)
Beta 1 (Oct 17, 2003)
Very stable, very quick....what winamp3 was supposed to be...love it, have been using it for days and it rocks...cpu usage is very low and memory usage is low as well. Love the program...replaced my winamp 2.91 :)
3.7.202 (Jul 22, 2003)
Great for paranoid dial up users, heh.....If you like to be paranoid and think everyone is out to get you, Zonealarm is a must use! ;)
1.49.1d (Jul 22, 2003)
I can see how some people would love this program, especially the "old school"users. I'm sure that IF you take the time to understand this program or one like it you can move, copy, delete and work in less time than doing it via windows explorer. I can see this tool being used at pc shops and what not, but for most people this tool is completely useless when everything is GUI based...it's like coming out with a Text-Based KaZaa....heh
Beta (10.0.0.79) (Jul 18, 2003)
Another sluggish and slow program from symantec..and if you ever uninstall it, windows just dies. Fantastic....why even use antivirus...just use common sense ;)
Beta (10.0.0.79) (Oct 29, 2003 - 10:30 PM)
After performing a fresh install of 10.3, I noticed window redraw times were quicker, mail was quicker and all the programs seemed to launch a bit quicker, the os overall was a bit "snappier". It is really good news, this is probably the most mature Os X to date. The exposé feature i priceless, the mail app is much improved and it is quite stable for a .0 release. iChatAV is great, even though it's really nothing new or revolutionary. The finder and network browser are nice, but the network browser needs some work, at times my windows network will just dissapear...and come back when it pleases. All together, the new features are worth it for 10.1 users and may be worth it for 10.2 users...it all depends on whether or not you want the latest and greatest, but if you are on an older mac, i do highly recommend this upgrade....as you will see a speed increase when installing it clean :)

Wow...Look mom...it's a Mac...The new MMac...by Microsoft
Beta (10.0.0.79) (Aug 2, 2002 - 12:59 AM)
Well, service pack 3 went on all my other machines fine except for the machine with this IBOT firewire webcam connected to my sbaudigy. After installing sp3 whenever i go to use the cam the system will bluescreen with a K_Mode exception error, listing Ntoskern and tidcam.sys as the culprits of the crash. I tried this on several machines and it always happens. Amoung the fixes in sp3 were a lot of firewire driver updates and file updates, i'm wondering if this could be the reason why it's not working. I uninstalled sp3 and went back to sp2 and the cam works fine once again. It's a recently fresh install of the OS, so I'm sure it's not configuration related or software related. I tried several different cam programs and all of them produce the same crash. Well, besides that, sp3 works fine but i won't be able to use it on my main machine until either the webcam manufacturer or microsoft admit to the problem :)
