  1. Review - Advanced SystemCare Free

    3.1.0 RC1 (Sep 26, 2008)

It caused an RPC service to shutdown causing my computer to reboot every hour after I installed it. The problem went away after I uninstalled it.

  2. Review - Exact Audio Copy

    0.99 prebeta 4 (Jan 31, 2008)

Other than the lack of support it has for encoder libraries, it's a dang good program. I'd just prefer to use DLLs instead of EXE encoders.

  3. Review - SparkleXP

    0.27 (Oct 8, 2007)

It does create a fast, optimized profile...I don't really know what use that could be. I installed it after I did not see a use for it.

  4. Review - FFDShow MPEG-4 Video Decoder

    20070221 rev952 (Feb 21, 2007)

Just letting everyone know that Milan Cutka has stopped actively developing it, and the newer versions are now posted here, compiled by other people: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/

  5. Review - Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 Feature Pack 2007

    1.0 (Oct 31, 2006)

Good programs for a programmer/developer, etc. Most likely the common user does not need this program.

  6. Comment - There will be an Office 2010 public beta sometime, reasserts Microsoft

    1.0 (Apr 18, 2009 - 12:13 AM)

I just hope they get rid of the stupid ribbons. Bring back the toolbars.

  7. Comment - Canada looks into ISP tax for $100m Web content fund

    1.0 (Feb 22, 2009 - 12:01 PM)

It'll be more likely you'll get the tax and not get anything in return for it.

  8. Comment - A buoyant Red Hat rides the economic waves

    1.0 (Dec 22, 2008 - 11:56 PM)

I've been invested in Red Hat since the IPO, so this is welcome news for me.:)

  9. Comment - Last.fm streams lose music from Warner

    1.0 (Jun 9, 2008 - 1:28 PM)

Didn't Last.FM used to be purely a social audio site that just indexed the audio you listened to?

  10. Comment - Commerce Dept.: US has already achieved broadband saturation

    1.0 (Feb 4, 2008 - 5:36 PM)

You have coverage, under their definition, if at least one person in the area has broadband. It's lame, and it's politics.
