It caused an RPC service to shutdown causing my computer to reboot every hour after I installed it. The problem went away after I uninstalled it.

Other than the lack of support it has for encoder libraries, it's a dang good program. I'd just prefer to use DLLs instead of EXE encoders.

It does create a fast, optimized profile...I don't really know what use that could be. I installed it after I did not see a use for it.

Just letting everyone know that Milan Cutka has stopped actively developing it, and the newer versions are now posted here, compiled by other people: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/

Good programs for a programmer/developer, etc. Most likely the common user does not need this program.
