  1. Review - µTorrent for Windows

    1.4.1 Beta Build 422 (Feb 12, 2006)

I absolutely love utorrent. But as one other reviewer pointed out, I do think the latest versions of utorrent are creating some network saturation. Azureus doesn't do this for me, bitcomet does though. utorrent didn't use to, but it seems worse now. I hope this is tweaked!

  2. Comment - Seagate Settles Suit Over 'Gigabyte' Definition

    1.4.1 Beta Build 422 (Nov 2, 2007 - 2:17 PM)

I do find how drive manufactures advertise a bit misleading. It isn't so much of an issue until you get up to the larger drives, like the 750gb drive. Formatted in the OS it shows up as 698gb, that is just over 50GB less than what is advertised. Granted that is still a lot of space, imagine how much the gap will widen with multi terabyte drives! I think manufactures should change their calculations, both Microsoft and Apple use the binary definition, at least in their OS, not sure about their MP3 players.

  3. Comment - Hackers Open Up Mac OS X Leopard for PC

    1.4.1 Beta Build 422 (Oct 31, 2007 - 10:31 AM)

Well, this is a better alternative to Ubuntu, OSX is free and hacked... I don't mind ripping off Apple.

  4. Comment - Can Yahoo! Messenger 9 Topple AIM?

    1.4.1 Beta Build 422 (Oct 30, 2007 - 11:52 PM)

The only thing aim has going for it is AIM lite. http://x.aim.com/laim/

I prefer lite clients like that and Google talk. The interfaces aren't bad either. Things need to be simple and clean, with pretty effects...kinda like Apple's stuff.

You know what ever happened to Yahoo Messenger Vista edition?

  5. Comment - Microsoft to Fix Critical Vista Flaw Early

    1.4.1 Beta Build 422 (Apr 2, 2007 - 12:42 PM)

Well if users were smart enough to keep UAC enabled, this flaw doesn't even affect them.

  6. Comment - Microsoft Updates Live Messenger Beta

    1.4.1 Beta Build 422 (Feb 28, 2006 - 1:27 PM)

The new build is probably going to be 566, since the current one is 562. The latest version really does have clear voip capabilities. Just as good or better than google talk, which I think is better than skype and gizmo. Only complaint is MSN still requires the opening of ports or UPnP, avoiding that works so much better, and is easier on the end user.
