4.3.2 (2029) Beta (Nov 29, 2004)
This has nice features for a programming editor, and get's the job done. As to the user posting below... How often do people honestly open up large text files? And plus, this seems to be more aimed towards web developers, meaning if you've got a 5 meg html file, you've got issues!
And as for unicode, I'm sure there's *many* people out there that don't need it. I don't think I've ever opened up a file that needed to have support for it.
Keep up the good work on the program!
1.0 Final (Nov 9, 2004)
sn0wflake, I'm not sure why you're having those issues loading those two web addresses. I load them in 1.0 Final, and they work fine for me.
Firefox is by far the best browser I've tried, and I've used a lot of them. I occasionally switch to IE just to see the new improvements on the 3rd party clients, but, I always switch back because using Adblock, and the built-in popup blocker. I don't get any popups, and I practically never see an ad.
IE clients generally have half-assed popup-blocking, and the adblocking is pretty horrid.
Go FireFox!
It *is*, the drop-in IE replacement! (with the exception of those few IE only damned websites)
3.41 (Nov 2, 2004)
WinRAR is by far the best compression utility I've ever used. It's stable, and the compression to speed ratio is amazing. It's faster than any other compression tool I've used, and it almost always gets better compression. And HaST, I'm not sure what compression settings you're using on 7zip, but for me at least, I had it on Ultra Compression, and for most things, it would only result in a slightly better compression than WinRAR, and the compression time was *easily* 10 - 20 times as long. I like the idea of 7zip, and was using it for a bit, but the the speed to compression ratio is horrid.
Go WinRAR! Gotta pay for the best ;) (Or in most cases)
3.40 Beta 2 (Jul 6, 2004)
My favourite archiver! Tried many others, but this seems to be the overall best. With this beta they also broke a multi-version crack/keygen that I had reported to them. Pay for this program if you like it, slackers!

Well that's the most ignorant comment I've seen in a long time.

3.40 Beta 2 (Nov 9, 2004 - 1:04 PM)
But it's still half-assed for blocking popups, I find. Even with the pop-up blocking the unwanted pop-ups, I'm always getting popups if I use IE. I've seen one or two popups when using Firefox, and that was because I had changed a setting.
Edit: Oh, and the Adblock extension you can get for Firefox is AMAZING. You can snip out practically any add, flash, etc, quickly and easily. No external program or nothing, and if you click on the adblock button, it'll pop-up a list of all ad-blockable things (so far, all IFrames that I've ever seen have been adds, so it makes it easy to remove a lot!)
I occasionally go check out the other IE browsers, but I always come back to FireFox because of not having pop-ups, or adds. Makes browsing the net so much more pleasant.
Edit edit: And yes, for starting up the browser, FireFox is slower, but it's well worth the little wait. It only takes a second for me. And browsing actual sites, Firefox seems faster for the most part, except for some odd & badly designed webpages.
3.40 Beta 2 (Mar 2, 2004 - 11:46 PM)
Windows 95, and 98, compared to Windows XP were horrible, that damned blue screen of death hit me daily. WinXP is surprisinly stable, and I do a lot of funky things with the computer to make it crash. I'm just hoping the SP2 solves those damned pop-ups, untill then, I'm using Netscape or SlimBrowser (Very good by the way). Linux is awesome also, I like it, (I've got both installed), but I'd prefer to stick with Windows for playing my games, I get the most out of them on it. Otherwise, Linux is great also.
