  1. Review - CCleaner

    1.32.345 (Aug 13, 2006)

Note: I am using the slim version of this software.

This software is superb for a quick cleaning of your system (once configured to your liking). The initial scan may be long, but that is understandable. After cleaning most of the crap with the initial scan, the average time for the following scans should be reduced significantly.

I am also glad that the Internet Explorer 7 bug was fixed in the previous build, as it was causing many beta testers problems.

This build (1.32.x) is working perfectly.

  2. Review - foobar2000

    0.9.3.1 (Aug 13, 2006)

I just love how foobar2000 continues to give me what I want, and without the bloat. The new tab UI is a great improvement since the start of the 0.9.x series. This specific build (0.9.3.1) is rock solid, and so have been most of the builds since build 0.8.3.

  3. Review - K-Meleon

    1.0 RC2 (Jul 11, 2006)

K-Meleon 0.9.13 was better in my opinion. This newer version, K-Meleon 1.0 RC2, seems just like 0.9.12 or 0.9.

Nevertheless, it still is a pretty fast browser. Definitely worth using on slower systems.

"Sellers may not request payment through online payment methods not specifically permitted in this policy," eBay says, adding that it only supports established and safe payment services.

    Google, kill eBay please.

  7. Comment - Windows Live Spaces Set for July Debut

    1.2.80.1 Beta (Jun 26, 2006 - 5:28 PM)

"Banner ads will replace the current method of using text ads across the top of the site. Microsoft has said in the past that advertising would support the Windows Live service, keeping it free. However, an option is provided to turn off the ads by subscribing to the Hotmail Plus service."

Or, you can get it for free, using Adblock Plus.
