   Review - Microsoft Virtual Earth 3D

   3.0 Beta (Sep 25, 2008)

   A major negative issue is the fact that the "Birds Eye View" is showing pictures that are at least 4 years old (they're still showing a car I sold 4 years ago when I look up a particular address). Topography changes too often to use something that old.
   
   Navigation within the tool is too slow and sloppy. I stick with Google Earth for now.

   0.2.149.27 Beta (Sep 4, 2008)

   I had a heck of a time getting it to install until I turned off and disabled Symantec Endpoint Protection services throughout, rebooted and then ran the download/install. I love the speed and slim size. I use it as my default and will be anxious to see if it plays nice with my other programs.
