    It has nothing to do with piracy or anti-piracy , the share fact that the owners have changed to the giant machine that is now managing this program is good enough for me to stay the hell away , until its dissected & until I am 100% fully satisfied this program doesn't send ANY data other than the data i'm intending it to download.

    CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH , THE OWNERS OF THIS PROGRAM HAVE CHANGED , TO SOME- THEY ARE VERY UNPLEASENT INDIVISUALS.

    If you value your privacy then either use a version before 1.5 (im saying 1.5 to be safe even thats cutting it , or minutely possibly take chances with 1.6) or download another bit torrent client!

    Anything from 1.8 and later is definitely trickware/malware.

    If you absolutely must run it , make sure you either sandbox it first or have some pretty decent and hefty security measures in place.

    If your worried about the feds comin nocken , heh , stay clear.

    If you want an alternate program , Halite is open source! and offers 80% of the things uTorrent does and is growing by leaps and bounds.

    *UPDATE*
    I feel the need to revise my statement A little , Now that lavasoft is under new management I can no longer put my faith in there products until I have properly had time to review there ongoing practices.

    It also seems there forum has been very dead and much to censored lately.

    (I still however believe that Ad-Aware 2007 is less bloated than Ad-AwareSE 2006)

    Time will tell.

    Infact the bugs and leeks in SE seam to have been plugged in 2007.

    The new 2007 version is pretty decent if you are running pro and Ad-Watch & know what the *$%^ your doing!

    Anyone know where i can grab the latest beta signature file ? (BETA0034) ???

    I don't see A download link anywhere for it in the beta members section.

    I am pretty sure taping conversations in some states between 2 indivisuals without warrant is illegal still. Unless the law has changed.

    Also I believe the other party would have to know you are taping them in order for the recording to be admisible in court.

    On A side note: I once had a call from my cell phone provider letting me know right away that the conversation was being "monitored for quality assurance" or some sh!t like that (which basically means "hey yeah where recording your sorry ass") i turned right back around and said "I would also like to inform you that this call IS being monitored for quality assurance" , the rep said and I quote "I'm sorry sir I can not allow you to record this call" and then hung up !

    So if you can in a situation/state where you have warrant to record your calls make sure you let em know your doin it!

    It also helps if you use A secure business line to do it on that ONLY takes calls from merchants.

    Keep your family calls 100% seperate.

    You know common sense stuff.
