this is a sweet proggie. works as described with nice options - easy for noobs but, good tweakability for pwr users. clean install and sleek interface. luv it.

    1.9 Build 13583 Alpha (Dec 6, 2008)

uTorrent has been die Scheiße unt has been for years. its small (pico even) its lite on resources, updates often and easily, always works,
etc. rave, drool. btw, i like this little proggie and highly recommend it.

  4. Review - Rising Antivirus Free Edition

    20.56 (Oct 6, 2008)

too big (bloated?) this is a big install file (>54mbs) and uses >150mbs on hdd. *MUCH* bigger than AVG, AntiVir or even Comodo. the interface has mis-aligned components on my widescreen display making some elements invisible/unusable and some buttons unclickable. i was unable give it a thorough shake-down due to the shortcomings in the interface. so, buggy interface combined with hdd size and resource usage earn it the low rating. (not lowest because it may be an effective a-v prog just not usable)

  5. Review - Comodo Antivirus

    2.0.17.58 Beta (Nov 30, 2007)

been evaluating for three days now. seems efective and very nice looking interface - except windows need to be resizable. this is a no-brainer for any high-end interface as end users have differrent aspect ratio monitors, different resoloutions and different tastes. - database has updated every day. - having to approve execution of every program is nice. nothing else i've found does this. (tea timer and start-up monitor allow you to approve start-up changes only. this may replace those.(in time). submitting all run attempts to the community database is cool. Comodo is getting better and smarter all the time (ideally). !- there needs to be a pop-up for incoming email scan! this must be an oversight as there is a pop-up shown for outgoing email scan and incoming email is, obviously, a much greater threat. *PROS - good looking interface; daily virus database updates; program execution sentry; growing communty database. *CONS - windows not resizable!; no pop-up for incoming email scan! - needs a report for programs which attempted to run and user's decision.
