For me, File Renamer is the perfect balance between ease of use and power/flexibility. There are more powerful utilities, but they require command lines or specialized language to harness their potential. File Renamer offers an easy graphical interface for abilities that exceed most users' needs. If you require complex or automated batch processing of files, then File Renamer is the wrong utility for you. Otherwise, I recommend it.

The K-Lite team has done an outstanding job with their codec packs over the years. A video conversion pack's a fine idea. Thanks, K-Lite.

My jaw dropped when I read the reviewer who can't play mov files in Windows Media Player. I can't understand why anyone would *want* to play a file in Windows Media Player.
This QT Lite package is great for those of us who already have Media Player Classic (MPC) from our K-Lite Codecs installation. A Quicktime Alternative (full) package is also available. It includes MPC (the only difference).
