  2. Review - ICQ Lite

    Alpha Build 1211 (Jun 13, 2003)

When updating from the old version it crashed. Had to remove all the entries in the regedit to make this work. It takes up more memory, its slower due to all the banners.
The new smileys are ugly, i am very very disapponted. I used to love this program.

Now its time again to look for alternatives.. or install an old version

  3. Review - Opera for Windows

    7.0 Beta 1 (Nov 14, 2002)

In our company we never really supported Opera 6 because the lack of the ability to modify content once its was loaded. It didnt either support css like, clipping and display.

After testeing the new beta for half an hour I can only say one thing, congratulations Opera team, this browser kicks ass. Full DOM 2 support + supporting IE extension and great CSS support is simply great. Now we will defintly start to support this browser.

  9. Comment - Microsoft Finalizes Windows Media 9 Series

    2.0 (Jan 9, 2003 - 5:53 AM)

When watching DVD movies on my Laptop (Pentium II, 400 Mhz) the movies hack.
This is no problem using PowerDVD 4 XP. I guess Windows Media Player uses much more CPU power?
