   This article seems to miss the fact that Jeffery Veen and co-horts built measure maps while at AP, which was purchased by Google. He was not as this article suggests "inspired by it", rather he designed it. As for his time at google I think there is a more accurate description than "assigned" to measure maps. He and his brother Greg, were the original measure maps team. Thats quite a few errors for one article. Jeff Veen is considered one of the best designers in the Industry and worthy of some fact checking.
