But how are load times? it's horrible here with a p4 2.7 1gb ram, geforce 4 ti 4200 128mb, 250gb ata 133 hd.
sure i could use a new vcard, possibly an sata 300 card with sata 300 hd lol.
actual game play isn't bad, at 1024x768, and everything else set to medium graphic settings.
just the loading the game, and each level is the killer.
6.5.1.1 (Mar 19, 2007)
With Xvid you loose some image quality for compression, over Divx.
Not to mention Xvid codecs aren't fully compatable with Divx DVD players.
There is nothing wrong with using Divix, the decoding codec itself is just as free as Xvid, both codecs play eachother. You just need to open your eyes during the installation process.
Like you have to for 99% of other software as well...
Unlike what Banquo says, Divx is free, you only have to pay for the pro version of the codec, and for the converter. but the codec and player are free. and so is dr. divx for encoding. so Banquo's point is moot on most aspects...
88.61 Official Beta (May 24, 2006)

its not a "patch" its a full installation of the software, you want a "patch", try the update app included in your current version of nero 7.
7.0 Public Preview (Jun 7, 2005)
checked it out, not bad, but nothing new...
and Mastertech, you must be a complete idiot.
search on the page for the standalone download.
ITUNES is not force installed, you CHOOSE to download the combo, you will have to live with that choice.
you dumb all of us down if you can't figure that out.
and 7 preview is not bundled (yet at least)

Actually, win 95 SP1 patch was released to the public, win95 OSR2 was not.
Which is what you seem to be refering to, with the statement about FAT32.
OSR2 containted SP1, and other patches, and IE 3.x. other then FAT32 i don't think anything else important made it in there.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not defending MS on OSR2 or anything else released to OEM's and not the general public. I just wanted to make sure we are all on the same page.
In fact SP1, is still on the MS download site http://www.microsoft.com...676b&displaylang=en

why keep msn hotmail? who calls it that anyways? people just call it hotmail.
its about time they renamed it, its a left over name from before microsoft bought the service out, from a forgotten era of the internet
