  1. Review - EverNote

    3.5.0.437 Beta (Sep 29, 2009)

Excellent note taking application. Together with their free online service, they are both extremely well designed and useful.

They also have portable installtion and Windows Mobile support.

I guess this is where Microsoft One Note should start for their next revision.

  2. Review - XviD

    1.2.1 (Dec 12, 2008)

This new version has a bug/problem when decoding videos at more then 100% their original size. The video pixelates badly.

I have tested many players to see if it was MPC's fault but it was not.

Hopefully, Koepi or the Xvid team addresses this soon.

  3. Review - BWMeter

    4.1.0 (Jul 14, 2008)

If you don't want the LAN the graphic to show up when you start BWMeter, delete it from the Graphs list.

About the program not remembering graph sizes, i didn't have that problem. It remembered them.

I'm without it now because i can't use it with Kaspersky Internet Security because my Vista freezes when starting up.

I already send info to Desksoft and Kaspersky about this, but i haven't seen any solution so far.

  4. Review - Fast Explorer 2008

    3.0.10.395 (Jun 22, 2008)

This program is very handy. It is easy to use and helpful for cleaning the context menus.

However, i wish it had a better user interface.

  5. Review - Sumatra PDF

    0.8.1 (May 28, 2008)

Is great for quick looking at PDF's.
Unfortunately, this program lacks some basic features, such as remembering window size.

But it's great to see that it is improving.

  6. Comment - Ad-Aware, at 10, rolls out its leaner, meaner Anniversary Editions

    0.8.1 (Jan 21, 2009 - 11:35 AM)

Hopefully it will be better at consuming resources.

The last versions installed several services that stayed running even if you were using the free, non-real time monitoring.

  7. Comment - Sneak peek at upcoming HD radios with iTunes tagging

    0.8.1 (May 26, 2008 - 4:34 PM)

    iTunes-tagging.

lol, what are they pretending? that iTunes/Apple invented tags or tag systems?

You can tag whatever you want using whatever you want.
