  1. Review - MediaMonkey

    2.5.1.933 RC4 (Dec 28, 2005)

Love the software but I still can't transfer playlists with my Zen Micro even though their forums say it works. Oh well still waiting.

  2. Review - AutoGK (Auto Gordian Knot)

    2.13 Beta (Jul 19, 2005)

I give it a 5 because it is really easy to use and works perfectly. I love that transport streams work.
I wish there were a few more advanced settings for those who want them. I'd like to see and option for multi pass encoding. I wonder if this supports divx 6 yet?

  3. Comment - MP3tunes Debuts Online Music Storage

    2.13 Beta (Dec 1, 2005 - 11:29 AM)

I think this is a great idea as well. Not sure that they are doing anything illegal but who knows. The RIAA may just sue them over and over to financially ruin them. I tried the free account and can't get the software to synch It just hangs on analyzing. Also I wonder if the backup feature allows you to restore the files you sent in their original format or if they get converted when you send them up. I found nothing on their site reguarding this. I emailed their support, said 3 to 5 business days for reply. We'll se.

  4. Comment - Sirius Unveils iPod-Like Portable Player

    2.13 Beta (Aug 26, 2005 - 11:14 AM)

I could not agree more. Sirus made a mistake with this one. I use my Myfi all the time. I can use it in the car or out on my back porch. Sound quality is very good and they have terrestrial repeaters in many areas. Also Howard Steren was funny years ago but now his is just lame and comes off as arrogent.

  5. Comment - Report: Apple in Talks with Intel

    2.13 Beta (May 24, 2005 - 10:14 AM)

I agree. I would love to see Tiger on intel based systems. I almost bought a G5 a few weeks ago but I could not justify the cost. I have a very good Intel based system and XP runs very well. Both XP and Tiger have good and bad points but I would love to give Tiger a try. Apple could make alot of money and be truley competative. Maybe Microsoft should port a version of XP over to the power pc architecture.

  6. Comment - MS to Offer Windows Antivirus, More

    2.13 Beta (May 13, 2005 - 1:53 PM)

This is a good idea. Whether you like MS or not this will foster competition. Symantec and the others have not provided much incentive to upgrade for quite a long time. It's called competition. People are going to pay for whatever is the easiest to use. I for one will give it a try. If the MS product is better then I will use it. Maybe the other antivirus vendors will inovate and make their products better. I think it is stupid everytime MS comes out with a new product or service that sombody company already makes everybody starts crying about it. If they can't make a better product they won't survive. The simple fact is you don't have to use it if you don't want to. the more products put on the market the more choices you have.
