   There is no way the "average joe" is going to buy a PLAYER at $400 and buy movies for $30 a piece. Somebody is smoking crack...

   You also have to figure in a radio upgrade, not all ford radios allow Sync. The cost of marketing & training is a big chunk...

   I have a Toshiba HD-A2 $99.00 special, damm good player. I rent HD-DVD from Netflix. If HD-DVD goes "belly up" so what, I still have a great up-converting dvd player at a reasonable price! I'll wait til Blu-ray has a player for $99.00...

4. Comment - How HD DVD Got its Groove Back

   Sony is repeating the same mistakes it make in the 1980's with their Betamax format versus JVC's VHS format. It's just a matter of time until Sony starts making HD DVD players. And yes, Betamax was the better format also.
