1.64.0 Beta 2 (Oct 27, 2008)
"...all you have to do is get Audacity 1.3.5 and click on that list box and choose "Stereo Mixer Input" and click the RECORD button"
You probably have an older computer as new drivers from most manufacturers (SoundMAX, Creative, etc..) do not allow to use Stereo Mix because RIAA is "concerned with illegal recordings". Be warned!

Does anyone know if this version fully supports MS Windows x64, including PDF file creation within Office products?
1.9.2 Beta (Oct 2, 2003)
Why can't I just open Outlook Express and leave it running in the background? Exactly the same thing with way less bugs.
1.0 Beta 42 (Jul 21, 2003)
LOL, I can just keep my MS Outlook, AIM or ICQ open in the background. They all free and work much better!

blah blah blah... How is this even remotely related to what's BetaNews all about? Seems like random thoughts of someone who has heard something here, something there but has not done a market research on his own. Making a post out of this? Give me a break.. More posts like this and BetaNews site leaves my bookmarks folder.

you clearly have no idea what you're saying and obviously don't even understand how accounting works
In the nutshell, you can't claim money for something you haven't delivered. Services are delivered over time, and as such revenue should be reported proportionally. For example, when you buy a house and get a loan, can the bank report they earned all those money? No, because you haven't paid them yet. Same with services that are being spread over several years.
Reporting non-earned revenue will artificially boost profits, giving Apple, Microsoft an advantage to non-reasonably inflate the stock price. The story will be exactly as with mortgages until the entire bubble bursts and we'll be back to square one where companies report what they actually earn.

Since than Betanews became the place to rant?
This blah-blah post has no new or useful information whatsoever. Why even post this?

And no, Microsoft didn't steel their "product". They simply want money from Microsoft.
