1.0 Beta Build 106 (Jul 27, 2004)
This seems like a great program. I need it to zip files up and then ftp them.
I'm having just one problem:
Windows XP Home's built in zip program doesn't seem to be able to unzip or explore inside a .zip file that BuildIt created. I tried opening the .zip file with it and it doesn't show any files. You can still unzip the file with BuildIt and WinZip. (I haven't tried it on Stuffit.)
Something useful I found: When you set up your task to create a zip file you can have the date and time in the filename it creates by using $dd$ $$mm$ $yyyy$ etc. I found the variables by going to "Tools|Options" and then "E-mail Message Content". (Note: $h$:$n$ will not work right in a filename because of the colon.)

There is an ad for Google Desktop Search!
I logged into the other computer I have connected and there is an ad at the bottom for Google Desktop Search.
I wonder if Microsoft realizes that....

How about a virtual computer in which you can put virtual RAM and a virtual processor, and hook up a virtual monitor. Over time could maintain your virtual computer and see how long you can keep it alive. Then when you get more virtual money you could also upgrade to new virtual parts.

Search for Walmart near Denver, Co.
Then click on the thumnail for the first result.
You should see eye-level photos there.

Nice try but...
- Flickers when switching tabs.
- Can't move tabs around. (Or tell it to open next to current one)
- Can't use mouse gestures like in Maxthon.
- And what if I don't want MSN search...?

Using Maxthon, I click the XML link at the bottom of this page and get a blank page. I have installed Netscape 8.
